Born and raised in Nashville, TN, I developed a love for art as a young child and have been painting ever since.  I earned my Bachelor’s degree in fine art from Belmont University where I majored in oil painting. 

I now live and work as a full time mother and painter in Nashville, TN with my husband, three daughters and dog.  I paint in oil and acrylics in my studio within our colorful, loud and lively home!

I am fascinated with the rich history of Tennessee and my work tends to center on intimate scenes inspired by these local surroundings as well as personal travel. The deep connection which I feel to my family and home helps me to find inspiration all around me.

Inspired by light and color combinations, my goal is to utilize vibrant colors and textured strokes into a balanced composition where reality blends with my imagination.
